Describing what you do and why you do it can sometimes feel like the hardest thing. But for Peta Alexopoulos, Co-Founder of Positive Energy Adventures & Retreats, being part of the Local Legends panel at the North Coast Tourism Destination NSW Symposium 2025 in Byron Bay made it flow with ease.
Peta joined three incredible women in tourism business to share her journey of co-founding Positive Energy, and to explore how nature, movement, and mindful connection can transform the way people live, work, and thrive.
Together with her business partner, Belinda Johnson, Peta has built a portfolio of eco-certified hiking and wellness retreats across the Mid North Coast, Sydney, and Lord Howe Island. These immersive retreats are designed to foster personal growth, create meaningful community, and deepen connection to the natural world.
